Each guide is short and keeps your private family details out of the troubleshooting process.

Reminders are not appearingCheck Meloa’s schedule and your phone’s notification settings.
  1. Open the person in Meloa and confirm that a reminder is enabled and the next date is correct.
  2. Open your phone’s Settings and allow notifications for Meloa.
  3. On Android, allow alarms and reminders if your device requests it, and check that battery-saving settings are not pausing Meloa.
  4. Edit and save the reminder once more to schedule a fresh local notification.
A contact is not showingMeloa reads a contact only while you use the picker.
  1. Open Add person, then open the contact picker so Meloa can request access at the right moment.
  2. If access was denied, allow Contacts for Meloa in your phone’s Settings and try again.
  3. You can always enter a name and phone number manually instead.
A call will not startMeloa opens the phone dialer; your phone completes the call.
  1. Open the person and check that the saved phone number includes the correct country or area code.
  2. Tap Call again and confirm the number in your phone’s dialer.
  3. If the dialer does not open, restart Meloa and try placing the same call directly from the Phone app.
  4. Meloa cannot verify whether a call connected because it does not read your system call log.
Moving to a new phoneMeloa does not currently provide an account or cloud transfer.
  1. Install Meloa on the new iPhone or Android phone.
  2. Add your important people and reminder schedules again on the new device.
  3. Your previous notes and Meloa history do not transfer automatically because Meloa does not operate a cloud backup service.
  4. Your phone maker may restore app data from an operating-system backup, but Meloa cannot guarantee or manage that process.
Your data and privacyRelationship details stay in Meloa’s local app storage.
  1. Names, numbers, photos, reminders, call outcomes, history, and notes are stored locally.
  2. Meloa does not listen to calls, record audio, or read the phone’s call log.
  3. Limited pseudonymous usage analytics may be used in released builds; it is not tied to a Meloa account and excludes contact details and note contents.
  4. Read the full privacy policy for permissions, analytics, retention, and deletion details.
Read the privacy policy
Delete Meloa dataRemove individual information in Meloa or uninstall the app.
  1. Delete a note or history item from the relevant person when you no longer need it.
  2. Delete a person to remove that local relationship record and cancel its Meloa reminders.
  3. Uninstall Meloa to remove its local app data from that device.
  4. Meloa has no account-based cloud copy for support to erase on your behalf.
